Firehouse Replacement

The goal is to update Fire Station Facility:
-For additional equipment and living quarters
-Maintain or improve response time to service area

The City of Covington currently has 12 sites to evaluate
using the following criteria:

Physical and Design Conditions:
-Ability to provide utilities and infrastructure within reason
-Soil
-Topography
-Sight Distance
-Sufficient turning radii for equipment
-Pull through station
-3 bay station

Fire Department Conditions
-Response time to service area
-Adequate space for storage, living facilities, floor space
-Sufficient turning radii for equipment
-Pull through station
-Adequate parking for personnel
-Allows 60' apparatus storage

Impact to Neighborhood
-Loss of on street parking
-Noise
-Proximity to residences
-Set back / green space
